orbit :: esther morgan

by on September 22, 2015

Just because I’m no longer visible
to the naked eye

doesn’t mean
I’m not still here,

that some kind of life
isn’t viable.

Magnify, and you’ll discover
how I shadow my time

like that wobble of light
from a distant star

that proves the unknown
planet’s existence —

its year-long days,
its hypothetical water.
